Dr. Asmerom Gilau presented a paper on "Designing Cost-Effective Renewable Energy Powered Seawater Reverse Osmosis System Under Optimal Energy Options," at the Energy and Environment Conference (EUEC), Phoenix, AZ, February 1 - 3, 2010.
Dr. Felix Dayo participated at the 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change(UNFCCC), held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from December 7 - 18, 2009.
New Contracts Awarded:
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has awarded a contract to Triple E to carryout a study on developing climate change scenario analysis and coastal vulnerability assessment and adaptation study of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Triple E is currently participating in a Cornland International led CDM capacity building initiative in two countries in East Africa. The initiative is funded by the Swedish Energy Agency and involves actual development of CDM projects by carefully selecting the proponents from concept to registration at UNFCCC.
